LCSW, 6 years of experience
New to Grow
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with six years of experience in clinical therapy and substance abuse counseling. I specialize in supporting individuals through acceptance, personal growth, and reconnecting with their sense of purpose. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, creative , and rooted in evidence-based practices. As a neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I strive to create an inclusive, respectful space where all parts of you are welcome. I’m deeply committed to walking alongside you as you build lasting, meaningful change. I’m glad you’re here.
My goal in the first session is to take the time to meet you where you are at and get to know you. I acknowledge that meeting a new therapist for the first time can bring up a lot of different emotions and I want to make this experience feel more like a conversation, in which I get a better understanding of what brings you to therapy at this point in time. Then we will spend time discussing what your goals for therapy are and how we can make those happen.
What stands out most in my therapeutic approach is the strong, trusting relationships I build with clients. I believe that healing happens in connection, and I prioritize creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel truly seen and supported. I bring creativity and flexibility into the therapy process, adapting my approach to meet your unique needs — especially when working with neurodivergent clients, whose ways of thinking and experiencing the world deserve to be understood and honored. My style is collaborative, affirming, and deeply human; I aim to meet you where you are, and walk with you toward meaningful, lasting growth.
I’m best positioned to support individuals who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves, healing from past experiences, or navigating life transitions. I work well with clients who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected — and who are ready to explore their emotions, build healthier coping strategies, and move toward lasting change. I am passionate about my work with ADHD clients and neurodivergent populations. I’m committed to creating a space where you can show up authentically and feel deeply seen and supported.
Utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, I have worked with clients to identify their negative thinking patterns and learn how to challenge and reframe them. Together we will also make connections on how these thoughts influence your feelings and actions. In working with anxiety or depression, this method works well with learning to recognize and reframe those negative thoughts.
This approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect. Rather than telling you what to do, I focus on evoking your own reasons for change, helping you clarify what matters most to you. Together, we explore any ambivalence you might feel, and we work at a pace that feels safe and meaningful.
In my practice, I believe my clients are the experts on their own experiences. Utilizing a Person Centered approach, I provide a warm, and accepting environment for my clients to be heard. I aim to walk alongside you in your therapeutic journey— helping you reconnect with your inner resources, clarify your values, and make choices that feel right for you
