In the first session we will get to know each other through an array of questions consisting of your mental health background and current issues. I am very laidback in sessions and will work to make you feel comfortable so that you we can begin to build trust and hopefully have a positive therapeutic relationship.
Natasha is an eclectic spiritualist which means that she incorporates selected elements from different beliefs and uses them in her own spiritual practice. This allows her to connect with people who normally feel isolated or hide their experiences due to feeling judged and ridiculed. Let's talk about those stressors, spiritual gifts and dreams. Even if you are not spiritual, into the occult or religious, Natasha will still work with you to provide a non-judgmental environment so that you can focus on creating the better version of you.
Sometimes we have thoughts and beliefs that may interfere with daily life. This is where CBT can help. I use CBT in sessions to help individuals challenge and have more control over their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
I have always used a person-centered in sessions because I believe people are individuals and they know their life better then anyone. Person-centered therapy allows them to direct the session where they feel comfortable.
I have always welcomed an eclectic type of life and in therapy. When appropriate I utilize an eclectic array of tools in session, such as dream interpretation, tarot, oracle and basic astrology. These tools are used as a means of gaining insight and reflection on an issue with self and ancestors.
