Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have 9 years of experience working with pre-teens, teens, young adults, and families. I also have experience collaborating with teachers and school administrators to help aid in meeting a child's needs in the school setting. I have a passion for helping individuals learn healthy ways to regulate emotions, manage relationship difficulties, and find healing from trauma and difficult life experiences. Along with this, I enjoy assisting parents with finding new ways to navigate parenting challenges. My clinical approach is psychodynamic, strengths based, and person centered. The treatment modalities I use are specific to each person's unique individual needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session we will explore what you would like to get out of therapy. I like to learn about my clients strengths and how we can use these to help them achieve their goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My clients have said that I have a warm approach and I do well at meeting them where they are at. I have been told that my clients feel seen and understood and that they feel comfortable in our sessions.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is structured to help individuals balance acceptance and change, with an emphasis on mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This is a therapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress and mental health issues.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

(IFS) therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on understanding and harmonizing the different parts of a person's psyche. In IFS, the therapist helps the client identify and explore their internal "parts," which are aspects of their personality or emotional states that may have developed in response to past experiences.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma informed therapy is an approach that recognizes and responds to the impact of trauma on an individual’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being. It involves creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel respected, validated, and empowered while providing tools to manage trauma symptoms and assists with healing from past trauma.
