I support people to return to wholeness. That means finding your purpose, successfully navigating transitions, moving out of depression and anxiety, developing life and parenting skills, and attaining their goals. I also help clients to set attainable, specific goals that are anchored in the ways in which they want to move toward, not in what they're trying to get away from.
My goal is to create a safe, nurturing, warm environment for clients. I maintain an empathetic presence with my clients. I also like to use humor when appropriate to create and strengthen connections.
I am compassionate, open, funny, supportive, insightful and nonjudgmental. I help people to see who they really are.
You ae not your thoughts. I use CBT, as well as cognitive-based approaches to help my clients to first understand and then to change their thinking patterns,
i offer mindfulness techniques to reduce stress and allow you to become more present in your life.
I see every client as a whole person who is more than their thoughts, feelings and behaviors, This is the core of my practice. It is integral to building he therapeutic relationship.
Trauma is not what happens to you, it is what happens inside of you. Some traumas are obvious, others are not, but thy all disconnect us from ourselves. I support people to reconnect and return to wholeness.
I use IFS as a way to support clients struggling with complex emotions and internal conflicts n order to improve their well-being.
