Howdy! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Texas. I received my Masters from the University of Southern Mississippi. I love helping clients who are experiencing difficulties in relationships. Whether there is distance or conflict, I can assist in repairing relationships with the ones that matter most. This can be through individual, couples, or family therapy. I also specialize in working with intergenerational trauma and breaking cycles passed down by our ancestors.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will mostly be me listening to you share your experience and how you see the problem. If there are multiple people participating, I will give everyone a chance to relate their point of view. As I learn more about you and what is going on, we will be taking the first steps in building a relationship of trust and nonjudgement which is essential to successful counseling.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I provide an environment of nonjudgement, curiosity, and encouragement to help clients meet their goals. I am very flexible in the models I use and work with clients differently based on their needs. I have had training specifically for couples, family therapy, and intergenerational trauma.

My treatment methods

Couples Counseling

I have been successfully working with couples for years. In couples counseling I provide an environment of understanding and nonjudgement to help repair broken relationships.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use EFT most often when providing couples and family therapy. This model has helped many clients understand emotional patterns in their relationships and change them to repair distance and conflict in relationships.

Family Therapy

Unlike many therapists, I have been trained to provide family therapy. This is most helpful for kids and teenagers and provides a lot of flexibility to achieve goals more quickly and effectively than individual therapy.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I often use Solution Focused therapy when seeing clients individually. This approach is effective for helping clients create and achieve clear goals in an effective manner.
