Hi, I'm Sisily and I'm excited that you have taken the time to read a bit about me. I believe that the therapy journey will show improvements in your life as you reach towards the goals you have for healing, self-improvement, growth and any other goals you have. We all deal with various levels of anxiety and depression through-out life; learning to manage this is a big focus for me. To admit we go through these emotions during stressful times only allows for the tools to be learned to help us push through these emotions. I've been in the counseling profession for a little over five years. My passion for healing and self-realization led me to this. I implement and live out the things I share with others. I hope that while on your search to find a therapist; you find that I am a good fit for you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will focus on the areas of life that have been stressors for you. During this time, I like to focus on building a rapport with you, which will help establish a trusting relationship. I like for clients to feel as though they are talking to a trusted friend.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel one of my greatest strengths as a provider is that allow people to really be heard. I'm empathetic and compassionate, which shows to anyone that sits with me. Another strength of mine as a provider is working with anxiety and proven anxiety-reducing techniques.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT is used as a treatment method to help with emotion regulation. I also like how this method focuses on interpersonal relationships in our lives. I use this method when I include mindfulness exercises and practices in sessions and also as focus assignments for clients in between our sessions. These exercises or assignments come from a DBT handbook which includes sections on emotion regulation, relationships and mindfulness practices.
