Hi, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Texas and Colorado. I have a Master's Degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago and have been practicing in my field for over 12 years. I help adults struggling with pressures of anxiety and perfectionism develop new patterns that release them from this burden.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I want to get to know you and your history. I want to know what specifically is difficult right now and what other challenges have occurred in your life. I try to get a well-rounded snapshot of you as a person as we start to build a therapeutic relationship. We will identify primary goals for our work together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in so many different areas as a social worker, I have been exposed to a wide range of situations and bring that breadth of experience into therapy. I am adaptable and flexible to be able to meet your specific needs and to really join with you and see the problems and solutions from your perspective.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT in my practice for the past 12 years and have witnessed powerful and even life-changing impacts of harnessing negative thoughts that have taken over your life. Using CBT, we will be able to help you identify the thought patterns, core beliefs, and roots of unhelpful thoughts so that you can begin to take back control over your own thoughts and mind. You will experience less depression, reduced anxiety, and even feel less stressed as you make changes to your thought patterns. CBT is an evidence-based treatment for depression and anxiety.
