New to Grow
I work collaboratively with you to create positive changes in your life, resolve challenges, and move toward goals that feel meaningful and authentic. I believe it is important to understand who you are as a whole person, not just a diagnosis or label. My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and centered on your unique experiences, strengths, and needs. I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including client-centered therapy, psychodynamic principles, play therapy, and EMDR. I also have a strong background in the Developmental, Individual-Difference, Relationship-Based (DIR) model and specialized training in Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). These frameworks help me better support individuals and families, particularly those navigating neurodiversity, trauma, and complex emotional experiences.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a low-pressure, supportive environment. You set the pace, and we focus on what feels most important to you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and how I can best support you moving forward. My goal is for you to feel safe, heard, and respected from the very beginning.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Parenting neurodiverse children has shaped me both personally and professionally. This lived experience has deepened the empathy, patience, creativity, and understanding I bring into the therapy space. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, attending concerts, and spending quiet time reading with a warm cup of coffee or tea. These grounding moments help me stay present and balanced, which directly supports the care I provide to clients.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with individuals experiencing concerns related to neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, caregiver stress, relationship challenges, parenting struggles, communication difficulties, and general life dissatisfaction. I also support parents and caregivers in developing practical, compassionate strategies for children who are neurodiverse or need additional support. My approach is collaborative and empowering, with a strong focus on respecting your nervous system, personal history, and inner strengths. I integrate mindfulness and values-based work, trauma processing, emotional regulation skills, and body-based awareness to create a therapy experience tailored to you. Together, we work toward greater understanding, flexibility, and a life that feels more aligned with your values.
