Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who resides in Arizona. I have an LPC in both the state of Arizona and Colorado. For more than 8 years I have worked with both young adults and adults suffering from mood disorders, chemical addictions, behavioral addictions, and grief/loss. I have specific training in grief therapy, sexual addiction, as well as trauma informed care.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session we will introduce ourselves and discuss what brings you into therapy. I will answer all your questions and make sure that you are at ease and feel comfortable. Therapy cannot happen without safety and the ability to trust each other. After we get to know each other, we will discuss both your short term and long term goals for therapy. We will then take it from there.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am open and wiling to listen. I will support you in your search for answers and be there for you when you need to be heard. I will not judge you, only listen and be there.

My treatment methods

Sex Therapy

I am a Certified Sex Addict Therapist, CSAT. I work with those suffering from love and sex addiction. I primarily use the Patrick Carnes 30 Task Method. I have been working in this field for over 3 years and have treated individuals suffering from both behavioral and chemical addiction.

Grief Therapy

I received my internship with Hospice of Arizona. I have worked with those that are dying and family members of those that have died. I focus on the "normalization" of the grief/loss that one feels and the steps needed to make to move from grief to healing

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used CBT as a primary form of therapy with my clients. I help patients look at their thinking and behaviors and how changing one can change another. This is done via talk therapy and individualized assignments to be done outside of the session.
