New to Grow
I’m a compassionate, bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist who blends evidence-based practices with a holistic, person-centered approach. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your story, process challenges, and uncover strengths you may not yet see. My style is collaborative and practical—I listen deeply, offer gentle guidance, and help you connect your values to meaningful action so you can move toward healing and growth. I believe that therapy is not just about managing symptoms, but about rediscovering balance and self-understanding. I integrate mind-body techniques and evidence-based approaches to support healing on emotional, mental, and physical levels. My goal is to walk alongside you as you build the awareness and tools needed to live with greater clarity, connection, and peace.
Our first session will be relaxed and collaborative. We’ll focus on getting to know each other and exploring what brings you to therapy. This time is about understanding your needs and setting a direction for our work together—rather than diving into deep emotional work right away. It’s also an opportunity for you to share what’s most important to you and ask any questions about the therapy process.
My greatest strengths are deep empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a grounded, calming presence. I provide a space where clients feel safe, seen, and respected. I often integrate mind-body approaches to support healing on multiple levels—helping clients connect insight with action and create lasting change. My approach encourages balance, self-compassion, and resilience, no matter what challenges you’re facing.
I work best with individuals who feel stuck—whether from stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, or life transitions—and who are ready to explore new ways of relating to their thoughts and emotions. Many of my clients are high-functioning yet overwhelmed, seeking both understanding and practical tools to create change. They value a warm, collaborative approach and are open to evidence-based methods that support their healing, growth, and alignment with their deepest values.
I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present and take actions guided by their values, even when life is painful or uncertain. Together, we work on noticing and accepting difficult thoughts or feelings without letting them control your choices. Through mindfulness, values exploration, and committed action, you'll learn practical skills to reduce struggle with inner experiences and move toward a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients understand and heal the different “parts” of themselves—such as protective parts, wounded parts. Together we gently explore these inner parts with curiosity and respect, helping them release burdens and move toward balance. This process supports self-compassion and emotional healing.
I use this modality to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so they can create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and practical — we identify unhelpful patterns, learn skills to challenge and reframe limiting beliefs, and replace them with healthier ways of thinking and coping. I integrate CBT tools such as thought restructuring, behavioral experiments, and coping skills training, always tailoring them to each person’s needs and pace. The goal is to build insight, increase emotional resilience, and support clients in developing lasting, positive change in their daily lives.
