Hi, I'm Debra—a Christian Counselor, Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. I graduated from Adams State University in 2018, became licensed, and opened my private practice in 2022. Drawing on personal experience, I support clients in improving their mental health. In my free time, I like walking, relaxing in the whirlpool, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize a lot of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), specifically when it comes to treating depression and anxiety, where your thought process can increase or decrease symptoms.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I also utilize Solution Focused therapy. Let's figure out what the problem is and find solutions to eliminate or decrease the problems.

Christian Counseling

I utilize Christian Counseling with those who are seeking to understand their issues from a Christian perspective.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

I utilize CBT-I to help clients learn ways to change their sleep routines.

Compassion Focused

I utilize compassion focused therapy and teach clients how to be more compassionate with themselves and less critical.
