LPC, 20 years of experience
Hello, and welcome. My name is Tammy, and I am both a Licensed Addictions Therapist and a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I specialize in substance abuse, food addiction, anxiety, depression, and a wide range of co-occurring mental health disorders. I’m truly glad you’re here, and I look forward to speaking with you. To begin, we’ll start with an assessment so I can get a clear understanding of your background, your challenges, and what you’re hoping to work on. I’ll ask you a series of questions, and you are welcome to share only what you feel comfortable sharing—there is no pressure at any point. Whenever you’re ready, we can begin the assessment.
We will begin by completing a comprehensive assessment to better understand your needs. During our conversation, we will take time to build rapport and determine whether we are a good fit to work together. You will have the opportunity to share your expectations for treatment, and we will collaborate to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals. As part of the assessment process, we will discuss your mental health history, developmental history, and family background to gain a full picture of your experiences.
