New to Grow
I’m a therapist who believes that real healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Drawing on my Christian faith, I offer a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence while welcoming clients from all backgrounds and belief systems. I combine empathy, attentive understanding, and gentle reflection with practical strategies to help you navigate life’s challenges. If you are experiencing anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, or life transitions, I provide a supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain clarity, and develop the skills you need to move forward with confidence.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and what changes you hope to see in your life. You don’t need to have all the answers beforehand. This is a space to share your thoughts, ask questions, and begin building trust. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and supported as we start working toward your goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Clients often describe me as calming, compassionate, and attentive. Many notice improved emotional regulation, greater resilience, enhanced problem-solving, and a stronger sense of agency. I offer practical tools for daily life and tailor therapy based on client feedback to ensure it meets your unique needs.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with adults and young adults who want to better understand their emotions, strengthen self-awareness, and develop strategies for coping with life’s challenges. Many of my clients experience anxiety, high-functioning stress or burnout, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and challenges related to identity or life transitions. Whether your goal is to improve emotional regulation, break unhelpful patterns, strengthen resilience, or build confidence, I provide guidance and support designed specifically for you.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients notice and accept their thoughts and feelings without judgment, focus on what matters most to them, and take meaningful steps toward a fulfilling life. This approach builds resilience, self-compassion, and a sense of agency.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients recognize how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. This approach focuses on creating positive change by challenging unhelpful thinking, developing practical coping skills, and tracking progress toward personal goals.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use DBT to help clients build skills in managing emotions, improving relationships, and handling stressful situations. This approach focuses on practical strategies, mindfulness, and consistent practice to create lasting change and support personal growth.
Somatic
I use Somatic Therapy to help clients connect with and understand the messages their body holds about stress, trauma, and emotions. This approach supports releasing tension, regulating the nervous system, and making steady progress toward greater emotional balance and well-being.
