About me

As a licensed professional counselor, I believe everyone deserves a safe space to heal, grow, and thrive—especially when navigating anxiety, depression, and life’s inevitable challenges. My mission is to provide compassionate, culturally affirming care that truly sees you—your story, your background, and your unique journey. I proudly serve individuals from diverse racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, embracing people from ALL walks of life. Whether you're facing life transitions, feeling overwhelmed, or simply seeking balance, we’re here to walk alongside you with understanding and respect.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I have over a decade of experience providing mental health services to women and teens from various backgrounds and ethnicities, as well as personal wisdom gained through a lifetime of triumph over tragedy. I enjoy drawing out people's life stories and working with them to write new narratives for their life and their future through therapeutic conversations, guidance, and affirming support.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I know what it means to navigate a world where inclusion isn’t guaranteed. As a woman of color, living with a disability, and a proud mother of three—two of whom are part of the LGBTQ+ community—I’ve lived the realities of being overlooked, misunderstood, and searching for belonging. But those experiences didn’t define me—they empowered me. Now, I transform my lived journey and professional expertise into a mission: helping YOU embrace every part of who you are. Through my guidance, you’ll discover how to turn challenges into confidence, and walk through life unapologetically whole.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My therapy style is relaxed and conversational while incorporating evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. I typically work with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, life changes/transitions, and women’s issues.
