My goal is to create an environment where clients feel supported facing whatever is bringing them in to therapy. I am dedicated to creating an open-minded and non-judgmental space where laughing, crying, and venting are all things perfectly welcome during sessions. I will put in my best effort to meet you where you are at. I believe that you have the power and strength to grow and change from within, and the goal during sessions would be to provide the client with the tools they need to get them there.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, review your mental health history, then dive into the specific challenges you're currently facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Introductions can include the client asking me any questions about myself as well, that may make them feel more comfortable within the therapeutic space we will create together.
Some of my greatest strengths as a provider would include my non-judgmental nature and open-mindedness. I typically like to have an informal approach to therapy, meaning I strive to make sessions feel as conversational and casual as possible. Together I hope to create a strong rapport and therapeutic relationship where you feel comfortable crying, laughing, venting, and challenging yourself through difficult emotions with my support.
