Hello, I have been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the past 10 years. I have worked with children, adolescents, young adults and older adults. I have also worked with family units to help with parent/child conflicts, setting appropriate boundaries and many more issues that occur within families. I have helped other clients dealing with anxiety, depression and grief.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will get to know each other. I know that telling your story to someone that you don't know can be scary so I will tell you a little about myself and I want to hear all about you. We will go over what your expectations are for counseling and any other concerns or questions that you may have. I want you to feel comfortable and safe in our sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I feel that my strengths are that I truly want to help you overcome the things that you are dealing with and live the life that you want. I will always tell the truth in love and in a compassionate way. I have many "tools" for your "mental toolbox" that you can take and use when you are dealing with anxiety or other big emotions so that they do not take over. I have a heart for teenagers and young adults to help them achieve their full potential.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I am Christian Marriage and Family Therapist with 10 years of experience and I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge, skills, and insights in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate various challenges within the context of their faith.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience as a Marriage and Family therapist, specializing in the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my practice. CBT is a widely recognized and evidence-based therapeutic approach that focuses on the interconnected relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy techniques into my other therapy practices to help clients become more grounded and able to overcome their anxious thoughts and feelings.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Over the past 10 years, my experience as a Marriage and Family therapist has also been focused on employing Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) as a primary therapeutic approach. I have helped clients embrace the core tenets of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, such as focusing on solutions rather than problems, amplifying client strengths, and setting achievable goals.
