Hello! My name is Dannielle, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from rural Northeast Pennsylvania. I obtained my Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Social Work from Marywood University. I have worked as a therapist in various roles & settings for over 20 years. I identify with Jungian psychology and am certified in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, but I take an eclectic approach with my clients, based on an individual's unique needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I believe the most important part of the therapeutic process is the presence of the therapeutic relationship. We will spend the first session getting connected with one another. We will explore the challenges you are experiencing, as well as your strengths.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my greatest strength as a provider is the unique energy that I bring. I love offering a more holistic counseling approach than the typical mainstream options. I consider myself a "weirdo" by society standards & I am proud of it, lol. In addition to my title of LCSW, I am also a Level IV Usui Reiki Master, as well as a certified wild mushroom hunter. I also own a small business, blending my love of counseling with Reiki & use of spiritual tools such as tarot. I have created tarot decks & published books on various topics, including a beginner's guide to tarot, a wild mushroom identification guidebook, as well as Reiki training manuals.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I use an eclectic approach with my clients, but it is always strengths-based. We identify & draw upon the strengths within the individual & the environment.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I often incorporate aspects of this evidence-based approach, based on the needs & preferences of the client. Our thoughts determine our feelings & behaviors.

Jungian

I take an eclectic approach with clients, combining a strengths-based, person-centered approach, utilizing aspects of CBT & Jungian psychology, based on the needs & preferences of the client. Jungian psychology is highly compatible with the use of spiritual tools such as visual picture cards or tarot. These tools may be incorporated into therapy if the client is interested in doing so.
