I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Central New Jersey. If you’re struggling, please know you don’t have to face it alone. With over 75years of experience, I’ve worked with adults navigating a wide range of mental health issues, including disorder, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel understood, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life Whether you’re looking for relief from overwhelming emotions, navigating a major life transition, or seeking clarity and balance, I’m here to guide and support you. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths and create a path toward healing and hope.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our work together will begin with getting to know you—your story, your challenges, and your goals. During our first session, we will identify areas of need and set goals that feel right for you. Each session will build upon that foundation, offering practical tools and a deeper understanding of yourself to help you face life’s challenges with confidence.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I pride myself in creating a therapeutic environment that feels welcoming and authentic—a place where you can show up as you are, without fear of judgment. I have experience supporting individuals managing mental health disorders and the challenges that accompany them. My strengths lie in supporting clients to develop balance, stability, and self-worth Whether it’s improving day-to-day functioning, processing difficult emotions, or managing a diagnosis, I provide practical tools and emotional support to help you regain control of your life. I believe in meeting each person where they are, helping to identify and achieve the goals that feel meaningful to you.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with people who struggle with anxiety, depression and mood disorders. I also work with individuals who are neurodiverse. I create a safe, compassionate, non- judgmental space where a person can increase their self-understanding, identify goals and work towards improving their quality of life. I practice mainly with an interpersonal perspective while incorporating humanistic and cognitive behavioral therapies. My therapeutic style is interactive, compassionate, and encouraging.
Interpersonal
I am an Interpersonal therapist which means that I work interactively with clients based on their attachment styles. This theory is an evidence-based approach that has empirical support and is structured, and time-limited approach. It usually requires a minimum of 12- 16 weeks of treatment sessions. Based on this theory, social and emotional interactions between an individual and others contribute to mental health issues. Frequently conflicts between people are based on interpersonal interactions that become habitualized behaviors and require exploration and interventions.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Through my experience I have found Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to be effective with clients to address, depression, anxiety and other emotional needs. CBT is an approach to see connections and increase healthy response to behaviors, thoughts and feelings. Though the use of a structured approach CBT can be an effective way to reframe, restructure and effectively help clients identify and modify negative or anxious thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their mental health challenges. Opening an opportunity for increased insight of ways to develop practical coping mechanisms and manage their symptoms more effectively.
