Have you felt undervalued in your relationships? Have you felt like your picker was broken and you’ve experienced the same relationships over and over? Have you ever felt like you don’t know who you are or what you want for your life or that you lose yourself and your standards inside relationships with others? Have you found yourself repeating the same ineffective behavior while desiring a difference? Hi! I am Fatima, a licensed marriage and family therapist currently providing virtual therapy in the state of Georgia. A graduate of Mercer School of Medicine, I have over 7 years of experience working with women navigating relational crises. My focus is on empowering women to recognize and break free from unproductive patterns, helping them reconnect with their true identity and build healthier relationships. I assist in setting and achieving practical goals that lead to long-lasting transformation in areas such as self-esteem, boundaries, and emotional well-being. My ultimate goal is to help you experience the love, confidence, and abundance you deserve.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, you can expect to have a safe, open space where we’ll discuss the challenges you're facing and the goals you want to achieve. I’ll take the time to understand your unique story, exploring the patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back. We’ll begin identifying practical steps to start making meaningful changes, while also establishing a comfortable, collaborative approach to therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to begin your journey of growth and transformation.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strengths as a provider are my ability to truly listen, my attentiveness to the language and stories you share, and my commitment to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your challenges. Ultimately, my approach is tailored to your unique needs, with transparency and honesty at the heart of our work together.

My treatment methods

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my practice, I use solution-focused therapy to help you focus on your strengths and find practical solutions to the challenges you're facing. Instead of dwelling on problems, I guide you to identify what’s working well in your life and explore how to build on those successes. Together, we’ll set clear, achievable goals and discuss small, concrete steps you can take to move toward your desired outcome. By focusing on the future and what’s possible, we work towards creating positive change in a way that feels manageable and empowering.

Narrative

In my practice, I use narrative therapy to help you see your problems as separate from who you are, allowing you to reshape your story. Together, we’ll explore moments when you’ve overcome challenges and create a new, more empowering narrative. We’ll also look at the bigger cultural or family stories that influence you and rewrite them in a way that reflects your values and strengths, helping you feel more hopeful and in control of your life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected. We’ll work together to identify any negative or unhelpful thinking patterns you may have and explore healthier, more realistic ways of looking at things. I’ll support you in developing practical strategies to manage challenges like stress or anxiety, and we’ll focus on making small changes that can lead to big improvements. The goal is to empower you to take control and create positive shifts in your life, one step at a time.

Integrative

In my practice, I use integrative therapy to tailor our sessions to what works best for you. I combine different approaches, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to create a plan that fits your unique needs and goals. We’ll focus on your strengths and what matters most to you, adapting techniques along the way to help you work through challenges in a way that feels right for you. My goal is to support you in a flexible, personalized way, helping you grow and move forward at your own pace.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

In my practice, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you connect with the different parts of yourself that influence how you think, feel, and act. We all have parts like the inner critic, the wounded child, or the confident self, and I guide you in understanding and communicating with these parts to bring them into balance. Through this process, you’ll develop more self-awareness, self-compassion, and clarity, ultimately leading to a deeper connection with your true, empowered self. IFS helps you heal and create harmony within, so you can live with more peace and confidence.
