Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas and I graduated from Texas A &M University-Commerce with my Master's in Counseling. I have about 10 years of experience assisting children, adolescents and young adults struggling with anything from anxiety and depression to coping with symptoms of trauma. I have helped children and families in both private and educational settings.
In our first session we will spend a little time getting to know one another and brought you to therapy and what specifically you would like to see differently in your life. This will help us develop a plan for goals and a tailored plan for future sessions.
In my time working with youth and young adults I have learned the importance of establishing strong working relationships to help my clients foster change in themselves.
I love working with youth and young adults who are feeling stuck in their current reality and feelings or need support going through negative experiences and how to handle changes to their world moving forward.
I utilize and combine various therapeutic techniques in order to find an approach that best fits my client's needs. There is no one-size fits all and different techniques may be effective for different clients.
