I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in virtual therapy for young adult women experiencing anxiety, depression, and periods of transition. Many of my clients are navigating pivotal moments—college, early career decisions, identity shifts, or uncertainty about what’s next—and feel pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I help clients make sense of their emotional experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence in their decisions and sense of self. Therapy with me is a space to explore, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity and emotional stability. I provide fully virtual therapy and am licensed in South Carolina, Florida, Maryland, and Connecticut. I work with clients who are ready to engage in meaningful personal growth and create sustainable change in their lives.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session we will start with a brief introduction, go over cancelation procedures of appointments and then dive into what is bringing you to therapy and the specific challenges you are facing. The first session is used to build the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out. Together, we focus on understanding what’s driving your stress, building emotional resilience, and creating realistic steps toward a life that feels more aligned and grounded. My first time trying therapy did not go well but I am so happy I was open to trying it out again. From my very first session I knew Marcia was the perfect therapist for me. She is very kind and I can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. She is very authentic and goal oriented and makes me feel comfortable during our sessions. I do not feel judged or scared when talking to Marcia and I thank her for her patience with me. As a 23yo AA female, I personally love working with her.
