Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Florida. I received a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University I have been practicing mental health for 8 years and experience working within all communities and settings. Helping people is my passion and my goal is to help each client become the best version of themselves.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and begin building rapport. I believe that a positive therapeutic alliance is key to successful therapy. After, we dive into specific challenges you are facing. Then, we work together to create a tailored plan to work through in follow-up sessions. My clients should expect to feel as if therapy is their safe space where they can come and be themselves without any judgement, labeling or bias. I want everyone to walk out with a positive experience.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in mental health for over 8 years and various settings including inpatient and school, I have developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping clients identify and overcome barriers to challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I will use CBT to help you identify, challenge and break free from negative thought patterns and behaviors that hold you back.

Couples Counseling

I use couples counseling to identify and address distress within relationships. My aim is to bring partners closer together or end a partnership intelligently. Often in the process of solving dilemmas, partners learn to have compassion for each other and themselves, learn ways of constructively managing their own negative feelings, and rekindle the feelings that originally attracted them to each other.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I want all my clients to feel understood and validated, even if they have a different background than myself. Culturally sensitive therapy enables me to consider a client's background and identity in order to not just help understand them better but also develop more effective treatment plans. I respect and accommodate the cultural difference of all clients.

Grief Therapy

Facing a loss is never easy. I use grief therapy to help clients work through the various stages and ranges of emotions they might experience after a loss and help them return back to normal.
