I am not a traditional clinician and do not strive to be. I have a real understanding of and empathy towards the complexities of life, especially the unique challenges that are presented to adolescents, women, and families. I am appreciated for my relatability, supportive reflection, strong advocacy skills, transparency, and for telling it like it is!
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the challenges you're facing. This will assist me in developing a tailored treatment plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I specialize in depression, trauma, and life transitions (i.e., relationships, parenting, career, identity).
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am particularly focused on adolescents, young adults, and women.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
Person-centered therapy is all about the therapeutic relationship and providing an environment in which the client can grow and heal. It’s important to create a space where the client feels comfortable expressing themselves without fear of judgment or rejection.
