New to Grow
Hello my name is Jasmine Reese. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Certified Grief Counselor with over five years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. My background includes extensive work in crisis stabilization, domestic violence, sexual assault, and conducting comprehensive clinical assessments. I bring both expertise and compassion to my practice, creating a safe and supportive space where clients can process their experiences, build resilience, and move toward healing.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In the first session, the goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable sharing your story. First session typically begins with introductions, an explanation of how therapy works, and a discussion of confidentiality and boundaries. It is my goal that when you conclude a session you feel a sense of empowerment to transition into your best self.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
As a grief therapist, my greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a safe and compassionate space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I bring deep empathy, patience, and presence, allowing clients to move through their grief at their own pace without pressure or judgment. With specialized knowledge of the many forms grief can take, I listen attentively to both what is spoken and unspoken, supporting individuals as they process loss and find new ways of coping. I draw on a strengths-based and holistic perspective, helping clients uncover resilience, restore connection, and gradually rebuild meaning and purpose in their lives.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My specialties would be ideal for someone who is motivated to seek support, open to exploring their emotions, and interested in learning healthier coping strategies. If you are adjusting to a loss and/or a life transition you might notice challenges with relationships, work, or maintaining routines and may feel isolated or misunderstood by others.
