I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida, whose dream and passion has been to support others in my community. With over 8+ years of experience in various community settings and working with vulnerable populations, I have learned the value of supporting each other and finding the right tools and resources to overcome life's difficulties. I am excited and grateful for the opportunity to help other's struggling with life's transitions and seeking growth.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, it is my goal to learn as much as I can about you and your goals for treatment. In this session, you will also learn about me, and my style of therapy so you can make an informed decision if I am a good match.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in various community settings with a variety of populations, I have learned to tailor my work to fit the client. My ability to genuinely listen and understand each individual’s unique experiences fosters trust and openness. This compassionate approach, combined with a strong commitment to encouraging growth and change, empowers clients to explore and address their challenges at their own pace. I am dedicated to guiding them through their personal journeys with respect and encouragement, helping them develop new skills and perspectives that promote lasting positive change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients understand how the interactions between thoughts, emotions and behaviors. In this process, clients are able to identify maladaptive thought patterns. During sessions, we will work together to find ways to restructure these thought patterns to enhance client’s overall wellbeing and functioning.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I really enjoy using mindfulness practices to improve client’s distress tolerance and emotional regulation. I will encourage my clients to practice self awareness and be present with their thoughts, feelings and environments.
