About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who helps people find clarity, balance, and inner peace. I believe therapy is about more than just addressing challenges—it’s about helping you grow, heal, and reconnect with yourself. I take a thoughtful and practical approach. I notice patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and I use that insight to offer strategies that actually work in real life. I am adaptable and respond to each person’s needs, so therapy is personalized and meaningful. I also bring a sense of depth and spiritual awareness to my work. I hold space for clients to explore meaning, purpose, and personal growth. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you feel supported and empowered to discover your own answers. I enjoy helping people navigate life’s transitions, challenges, and periods of uncertainty. I approach each session with empathy and care, while also helping clients build confidence and resilience. Together, we focus on uncovering strengths, learning coping skills, and creating a renewed sense of possibility. Most importantly, I see therapy as a partnership. I walk alongside my clients with honesty, compassion, and respect. My hope is that through our work together, you’ll leave sessions feeling understood, supported, and more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll create a safe and supportive space to explore what brought you to counseling and what you hope to achieve. We’ll discuss your strengths, challenges, and goals so I can tailor my approach to your needs. I’ll introduce tools and strategies that match your situation—whether that’s mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral techniques, or trauma-informed approaches. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction, a plan for moving forward, and a supportive environment where you can grow at your own pace.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a calm and grounded presence to every session, helping clients feel truly seen and supported. I notice patterns in thoughts and behaviors and offer practical strategies that fit real life. I am adaptable, meeting you where you are—whether you need short-term guidance or deeper, transformative work. I also bring spiritual sensitivity, helping you explore meaning, purpose, and personal growth. Most importantly, I walk alongside clients through life’s valleys, helping them discover strength, clarity, and self-trust they may not realize they already have.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals who feel stuck in the valley—those experiencing anxiety, loss, burnout, or spiritual disconnection—and are ready to reconnect with themselves. Many of my clients are healing from unresolved trauma, learning to trust again, or trying to find peace with their past while stepping into new seasons of life. I also support those who are on a journey of self-discovery and alignment—people who sense there’s more to who they are and are ready to explore it with honesty and grace. Together, we look at what’s beneath the surface so you can live with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. In addition, I have experience working with veterans and individuals who’ve served in high-stress environments. I provide a calm, grounded space to process transitions, identity shifts, and the impact of military life on emotional and relational wellbeing. If you are ready to face what’s holding you back and move toward emotional, relational, or spiritual wholeness, I provide a safe space for you to explore, reflect, and grow. I focus on helping you identify your strengths, set boundaries, and take practical steps toward the life you want.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that affect mood and behavior. By building self-awareness and practicing cognitive restructuring, clients gain practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and self-doubt.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I create a safe, supportive environment that encourages honesty, self-acceptance, and personal growth. Clients lead the pace while I provide empathy, reflection, and gentle guidance to help them reconnect with their authentic selves.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I integrate mindfulness and grounding techniques to help clients stay present, regulate emotions, and reduce anxiety. These practices build awareness and resilience both in and outside of sessions.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I focus on clients’ existing strengths and resources to help them identify practical solutions. This approach keeps therapy goal-oriented and empowering, especially when clients seek clarity or short-term support.

Trauma Informed Care

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing safety, trust, and empowerment. I integrate CBT, mindfulness, and body-based awareness to support healing and reconnection after emotional or relational trauma.
