New to Grow
My name is Mark Lattimore Jr., and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I serve youth, adults, and families who are navigating trauma, grief, life transitions, and emotional challenges. My goal is to provide a safe space where clients can heal, discover their strengths, and move forward with greater hope, clarity, and resilience.
In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—your story, your challenges, and what you hope to gain from counseling. I’ll ask questions to better understand your goals and we’ll work together to create a plan that feels supportive, safe, and tailored to your needs.
My greatest strength is creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood. I focus on building strong relationships and helping people recognize their strengths, so they leave sessions feeling encouraged and empowered.
My ideal clients are individuals and families who feel overwhelmed by life’s challenges but are open to growth and change. Whether navigating trauma, grief, relationship struggles, or stress, I am best positioned to serve those who want support in finding healing, clarity, and hope for the future.
I use Christian counseling as a way to integrate faith, biblical principles, and evidence-based practices. This allows clients to explore their struggles while finding hope, healing, and direction through both spiritual and clinical guidance.
My practice integrates CBT as a structured, evidence-based method that teaches clients to identify distorted thought patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and build practical skills for managing emotions and behaviors.
I use Motivational Interviewing to create a safe space where clients feel heard and empowered. By exploring their own values and goals, clients gain the confidence and motivation to make meaningful changes in their lives
I use Solution-Focused counseling to help clients recognize their strengths and build on what’s already working in their lives. This approach encourages hope and forward movement by focusing on practical solutions rather than problems.
I use Faith-Based Therapy to support clients in drawing strength from their spiritual beliefs. This approach allows clients to lean on their faith as a foundation for hope, healing, and personal growth
