I work with adults who are struggling with effects of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger, and other issues. I want to provide a safe and supportive space for you to grow as you work toward your goals. Whatever situation you find yourself facing, you have value and worth. As a therapist, I have practiced in medical, in-home, and outpatient settings. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, I usually let you take some time to share what is going on in your life, and what challenges you are facing. I want to spend time getting to know you as we begin working together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have worked with clients on many different issues, and have found that I work well those dealing with anxiety and depression, those dealing with effects from trauma, grief, and other life stressors such as moving, breakups, and other changes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults of all ages who are comfortable meeting through telehealth. Currently I am seeing clients primarily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during daytime hours.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I am trained in EMDR and have found this modality to be helpful in a virtual setting to treat trauma. Feel free to reach out if you have questions about it!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I find CBT to be a very logical approach to therapy, and often incorporate this into sessions.

Grief Therapy

Grief can be challenging in many ways. I have worked with children and adults of all ages grieving various losses.

Supportive

Some clients I see need a safe and supportive place to process challenges that they are dealing with, and I work to offer that setting.

Psychoeducation

Education about how our mind and bodies are working can help empower us to cope with life's challenges.
