Katherine spent the majority of her therapeutic career in a community based setting meeting with youths impacted by substance abuse, alcoholism, mental health and co occurring disorders within their homes and community’s. Katherine has worked with these youth and their families to help mend the ties that substance use has broken. Before starting her own practice, Katherine was a school social worker for youth and young adults with emotional, cognitive and other health impairments.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Many people view therapy as sitting on a leather sofa and recanting their issues to an old man or women staring at you behind half lowered glasses giving you a judgmental look that you can feel in your soul. Katherine aims to break that therapy sigma by creating a warm, friendly, inviting environment that feels like you are sitting down with an old friend.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Therapy is a unique and individual journey. I believe my greatest strength is you will never have the same session as someone else. I do not believe in cookie cutter therapy, Instead I give you the reins and help guide you to the goals you want to accomplish.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Katherine is a DBT, trauma informed therapist who looks to connect with her clients through music, art and other forms of self expression and healing. Katherine is LGBTQ+ friendly and welcomes individuals, families, couples, children ages 5-17, and adults 18 +.
