Hello There ! My name is Tanya Edwards. I am a Licensed Clinical social worker. I have accumulated over 15 years of clinical experiences with diverse populations. My practice focus areas include issues attached to depression, grief, distorted self-image, career challenges, parental caregiving and entering new life stages. My practice is geared towards empowerment for growth, sustainment, and more growth!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a get to know/feel one another out session. There needs to be a sort of mutual feeling of congruence to move forward. During this time , we question and we learn about one another. We identify needed areas of healing and growth. Information gathered in the initial session is used to plan the work!!!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Our sessions will consist of evidenced based mechanisms that promote healing, growth, sustainment and ideally more growth. Expect support, nurturing, and empathy in a non judgemental space coupled with a few laughs.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My skill set thrives with those impacted by depression, grief, relationship transitions (romantic and platonic) and negative self image.
