About me

I initally began my career in technical problem-solving in the fields of Environmental Science and Engineering, but my deeper calling was always in helping people navigate their own challenges. While working as an engineer, I served my church community as a lay counselor and intercessor, which sparked a growing passion for more meaningful, people-centered work. That calling led me to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I haven’t looked back since. Today, I serve as both a private practice clinician and a workplace mental health consultant and trainer. This work allows me to blend my analytical skills with a deep commitment to emotional wellbeing—and I truly feel I’ve found my purpose.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We will take the first few minutes of our initial session to review the most important aspects of the private practice documents you are required to complete, at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Following this, we will explore the area(s) of concern that prompted you to seek support, and then establish the goal(s) we will spend the durationof our therapeutic relationship working towards meeting.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I leverage my engineering background with my expertise in family therapy to help my clients come unhinged from the external and/or internal challenges that prompt them to seek support. I take a collaborative and solution-focused approach to resolving problems involving negative internal dialogue and poor patterns of communication and conflict management. When you come to me, expect to be supported and empowered as the expert of your life and/or relationship. The challenges that seemed insurmountable will be seen in a new light, one that allows for growth and personal transformation.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Struggling with emotional challenges, family conflict, or workplace stress? You don’t have to navigate it alone. Since 2016, I have been helping individuals, couples, teens (12+), and families uncover the root causes of emotional, behavioral, and relational struggles. If you are an individual struggling with anxiety, depression, self-doubt, negative self-talk, interpersonal conflict, work-related stress, or life transitions —effective, compassionate therapy can help you restore balance and strengthen what matters most. I help individuals and professionals address the mental, emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges that keep them stuck—so stress at work no longer damages your home life, and stress at home no longer drains your performance and wellbeing at work. For those who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling that honors faith as a vital part of your healing journey. I draw upon a number of therapy models to support my clients, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
