Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

After sessions, you will be able to identify your strengths and use coping skills that fit into your life and are in line with your preferences. You will leave sessions feeling heard, validated, and empowered.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I allow each client to provide their unique perspective on stressors they are experiencing in their lives. I have a curious nature, which allows me to connect with clients as I walk through their worlds with them. Together, we will identify aspects of your life you would like to change, and find realistic ways to change them that are relavant and important to you. I consider myself a teammate to each person with whom I work.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use ACT to help clients accept their thoughts as just thoughts and move throughout their days without their thoughts controlling them.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to implement behavioral practices to alleviate symptoms of depression and/or anxiety.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I use culturally sensitive therapy to understand that each person has a unique worldview. I approach each person's world with an open mind and no assumptions.

Gender-affirming therapy

I respect and appreciate all gender identities, whether or not a person's gender identity plays a large role in their lives.

Motivational Interviewing

I utilize motivational interviewing to help clients reach their goals in life.
