LCSW, 7 years of experience
As a therapist, I am committed to helping my patients heal in the most efficient and effective way possible. I take a direct, trauma-focused approach that prioritizes getting to the root of distress rather than just managing symptoms. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where patients can process their experiences, build resilience, and move forward with clarity and strength. I believe in using evidence-based methods, like EMDR, to facilitate meaningful and lasting change.
In our first session, we’ll start with a high-level overview of your life and the key experiences that have shaped you, as well as what you’d like to focus on in therapy. We’ll also begin identifying your goals and discuss the therapy approaches that may be most effective for your needs.
I bring a unique background in process improvement and quality and risk management, which has shaped my clear, structured, and direct approach to therapy. This foundation allows me to take a focused, results-driven path to trauma work, helping clients move efficiently toward meaningful and lasting change.
My ideal patient is someone who recognizes the need for change and is open to taking the necessary steps toward healing. They are ready to engage in honest, sometimes challenging conversations and are willing to hear what’s needed to support their growth and transformation.
I will use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help the patient process and reframe distressing memories by guiding them through bilateral stimulation while they recall traumatic experiences, facilitating emotional healing and symptom relief. This structured approach aims to reduce the emotional intensity of past events and promote more adaptive beliefs.
