Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together we will take a deep look at the challenges you have been facing and goals that you would like to achieve during this process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I started my career in community mental health working with individuals who were suffering from addiction, childhood trauma, family conflict, and faith crisis. I feel like I have learned the true impact addiction, poverty, trauma, and abuse can have on an individual and family system. This has helped me create space for clients to feel safe, heard, valued, and respected in our sessions.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with clients who are genuinely seeking therapy for their own growth and awareness. Client's who want to take a deeper looking at behaviors and relationships in their lives that could be modified and improved.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My hope is to help clients learn to identify the link between their thoughts and their behaviors. If we can create awareness of how our thoughts can elicit behaviors then we can implement coping tools to help modify the behavior.

Grief Therapy

Helping clients identify what their Grief process looks like, and understanding the stages of Grief that individuals can experience. Additionally, I would like to introduce clients to different tools that can help them move through their Grief process.

Trauma-Focused CBT

My hope is to help individuals process trauma and integrate it in to their lives. Helping to identify where the trauma is stored in their body, gain an understanding of the maladaptive coping tools that have been created to cope with the trauma and then learn new tools that can help them integrate the trauma and move forward in their life.
