New to Grow
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing telehealth services to children, adolescents, and adults across California. As a bilingual therapist fluent in Spanish, I have extensive experience supporting clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and deeply value culturally responsive care. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, from California State University, Los Angeles, where I also completed my Bachelor of Arts in Child Development. My education and clinical training provided a strong foundation in evidence based practices, lifespan development, and relational dynamics, which continue to guide the way I support my clients. I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and relationship stress. I support children and adolescents in strengthening emotional regulation and coping skills, while helping adults manage stress, burnout, and personal growth with greater confidence and clarity. I believe meaningful change begins with connection. I meet each client where they are, creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focused on building resilience, increasing self awareness, and helping you develop practical tools that you can use in your everyday life. I offer flexible virtual sessions designed to fit into your schedule while providing accessible, high quality care.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask about your goals, your experiences, and what’s most important to you. This is a safe, non-judgmental space, there’s no pressure or rush. Together, we’ll start building understanding and identifying small steps that can help you feel more supported and in control.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I believe the heart of therapy is connection. Building a strong, trusting relationship allows clients to feel safe, heard, and supported as they navigate challenges. My experience working with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds has helped me understand different perspectives and truly put myself in their shoes. Connecting with my clients is the most important part of helping them grow, feel understood, and succeed in therapy.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I’m passionate about supporting clients from all walks of life who are feeling stuck, stressed, or seeking personal growth. My work is for those ready to explore challenges, gain clarity, and build practical tools to navigate life with more confidence and balance.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT in a collaborative and flexible way to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns and work on realistic strategies to reduce anxiety, improve mood, and build coping skills clients can use in daily life. I adapt CBT techniques to fit each client's goals, pace, and real-world challenges.
Attachment-based
I use attachment- based approach to help clients understand how early and current relationships impact emotions, boundaries, and connection. This work supports healthier relationships, increased self-awareness, and more secure ways of relating to others.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness- based therapy to help clients feel more present, grounded, and connected to themselves. Together, we focus on building awareness, easing stress, and creating moments of calm that can carry into everyday life.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use solution- focused techniques to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build on what's already working. This approach is especially helpful for clients seeking practical progress and foward momentum in a supportive, strengths-based way.
