New to Grow
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related overwhelm, identity concerns, and relationship stress. My approach is supportive and practical, with a focus on helping clients gain clarity, understand emotional patterns, and build coping skills they can use in daily life. Sessions are collaborative, paced to meet you where you are, and focused on steady, meaningful progress.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand your concerns, and we’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. The goal is to see if we’re a good fit and begin identifying next steps at a pace that feels comfortable.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My greatest strengths are creating a calm, supportive space and helping clients gain clarity around patterns that feel confusing or overwhelming. I take a practical, collaborative approach that focuses on self-understanding, coping skills, and steady progress, rather than pressure to change everything at once.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally drained and want a supportive space to better understand themselves. I often work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related overwhelm, relationship stress, or identity concerns, who are looking for clarity, steadiness, and practical ways to move forward.
Trauma Informed Care
I use a trauma-informed approach that meets clients where they are, helps them feel safe in their bodies, and supports them in understanding how their history affects their present. I focus on regulation, insight, and restoring a sense of control.
Attachment-based
I use an attachment-based approach to help clients understand how early relationships shape their current patterns, needs, and emotional responses. I focus on building safety, trust, and healthier ways of connecting with others and themselves.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use ACT to help clients accept their internal experiences and move toward choices that reflect their values. We work on mindfulness skills and building a life that feels purposeful.
EMDR
I am trained in EMDR and use it when clients are ready and the timing is appropriate. My focus is on building safety, developing resources, and helping clients process experiences at a pace that feels manageable. I integrate EMDR in a gradual way, starting with resource-building and nervous system stabilization. I use it as one of several tools to help clients work through trauma safely and at their own pace.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use mindfulness-based techniques to help clients slow down, notice their emotions, and reconnect with their bodies. We focus on grounding, breathing, and building awareness that supports emotional regulation.
