Hi, I'm Bianke, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe that one of the most important parts of therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. Feeling safe, understood, and supported makes real healing possible. I work with young adults healing from childhood trauma and PTSD, and with individuals navigating major life changes related to medical conditions or aging. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence based practices to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and regain a sense of control. Therapy isn’t about “just getting over it.” It’s about making sense of your experiences and learning how to move forward in a way that feels right for you. If you’re ready to start, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is really about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, explore your story, and start identifying what you’d like to work on. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported. We’ll move at your pace, and together begin building a trusting relationship that helps you feel more confident and in control of your mental health.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What sets my approach apart is how intentional and personal the work feels. I focus on creating a comfortable, judgment free space where you can be yourself and talk openly. Therapy is a team effort, and I tailor our work to your strengths, your experiences, and what actually works for you. I support clients in working through past experiences, easing anxiety, and finding steadier footing emotionally. Along the way, I offer encouragement, insight, and practical tools you can use outside of session. Healing isn’t about rushing or pretending things didn’t happen it’s about making sense of your experiences and moving forward in a way that feels authentic to you.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
You may have grown up in an unpredictable or emotionally neglectful environment, or experienced events that still affect you today. Anxiety, self doubt, people pleasing, or difficulty trusting others might feel familiar. The past can show up in your relationships, self esteem, and sense of emotional safety. I help clients work through complex trauma, build emotional regulation skills, and loosen the grip old patterns can have on daily life. If you’re adjusting to a new medical diagnosis, chronic condition, physical changes, or the realities of aging, it can bring up grief, fear, and a sense of uncertainty about the future. You may feel disconnected from who you once were or unsure of what comes next. I support clients in making sense of these transitions, strengthening self compassion, and finding stability and meaning during times of change.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
I use this evidenced based treatment to help individuals understand and change the thoughts and beliefs associated with traumatic experiences.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use this widely used treatment modality to help individuals focus on the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I use this treatment to reduce stress, regulate emotions, increase self awareness while enhancing the mind to body connection.

Bianke is such a wonderful therapist and human being. Kind, sincere, and so easy to talk to. I used to think therapy wasn’t for me but, Bianke helped me navigate some really tumultuous moments in my life. I couldn’t be more grateful. :)
