About me

I'm a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist, and I want to recognize how courageous it is to take that first step toward seeking support. It’s not easy, and I’m really glad you’re here. Over the past 6 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside people through some of their most vulnerable moments. Lately, my focus has been on supporting women between the ages of 18 and 35 who are navigating anxiety, depression, and the uncertainty that often comes with major life transitions. My goal is to create a space that feels safe and grounded in trust.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is all about connection. I want to learn about your story, your experiences, and what brings you to therapy. I deeply believe in building trust and moving at a pace that feels right for you. This process is yours. I'm here to support you every step of the way helping you explore tools and strategies to manage life's challenges while honoring your unique journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a bilingual psychotherapist, I am proud to offer services in both Spanish and English to the Latinx community. I am committed to fostering a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to heal and grow. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect, and I am dedicated to honoring the resilience and strength of each individual I serve.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with individuals navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, and women’s mental health, including perinatal and postpartum concerns. I also provide support for the unique obstacles stemming from first-generation identity concerns and single parenting.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational treatment modality in my clinical work. CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and modify maladaptive thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors that contribute to psychological distress. I use CBT to treat a wide range of conditions including anxiety disorders, depression, and trauma-related symptoms.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility by learning to accept difficult emotions, clarify personal values, and commit to meaningful action.

Motivational Interviewing

I regularly use Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients in exploring ambivalence and strengthening their internal motivation for change. MI is a collaborative, client-centered approach that helps individuals clarify their values and make decisions aligned with their goals. In my practice, I use MI techniques such as open-ended questions, affirmations, reflective listening, and summarizing to foster autonomy and build rapport.
