About me

Are you feeling stuck in life, navigating a major life transition, or feeling weighed down by the lasting effects of trauma? I offer a compassionate, client-centered approach that honors your unique story. In our work together, you'll find a safe, supportive space where we explore your experiences, uncover strengths, and gently work through barriers—with a bit of humor to keep things human. My focus is on helping you build deeper self-awareness, resilience, and clarity, so you can move forward with greater confidence and emotional freedom. Whether you're healing old wounds or stepping into a new chapter, you don't have to do it alone. Let’s take that first step together.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll explore what’s brought you to counseling and begin working together on a Biopsychosocial Assessment and a Treatment Plan. This process helps me gain a well-rounded understanding of you and your life, and it creates a roadmap that will guide our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I combine compassionate, client-centered care with practical, solution-focused strategies. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where you feel seen and heard. While also helping you develop tools that lead to real, lasting change. I focus on how you perceive and experience your challenges, so our work stays grounded in what feels meaningful and manageable for you. Clients often tell me they appreciate the balance of deep emotional work with moments of humor and lightness that make the process feel more human. My goal isn’t just to help you feel better—it's to help you build insight, resilience, and confidence to move forward on your own terms.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps in life. My clients are often motivated for change, they sense that something needs to shift, and they may not yet have the tools, clarity, or confidence to move forward. Whether you're navigating a major life transition, working through the effects of past experiences or trauma, or seeking to reconnect with your sense of purpose, I’ll meet you exactly where you are. Together, we’ll create a space grounded in compassion, curiosity, and practical strategies to help you gain insight, overcome barriers, and begin living in a way that feels more empowered, intentional, and aligned with your true self.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

My approach to therapy is person-centered (also called Rogerian therapy) and is tailored to your personality, as well as, current and past experiences. While this is my primary approach, I do also acknowledge that we will have to pull in techniques from other areas of therapy, including narrative, solution-focused, mindfulness, psychodrama, Gestalt, CBT, ACT, and DBT.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my work, I often draw from Solution-Focused Therapy, which means we’ll concentrate on what’s working in your life and build on your existing strengths to create meaningful change. Instead of staying stuck in the problem, we’ll focus on your goals and explore small, practical steps that move you toward the life you want. This approach is collaborative, empowering, and future-oriented—helping you gain clarity and momentum, even when things feel overwhelming.
