New to Grow
I work with adults in Arizona and Oregon who are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and family estrangement. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns shaped by past experiences or complicated family dynamics. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I tailor therapy to your needs and pace, with a strong focus on helping you feel safe, supported, and understood throughout the process. Together, we work on reducing anxiety, processing painful or unresolved experiences, strengthening relationships, and building healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. I aim to create a space where you don’t have to have everything figured out, just a willingness to show up and begin moving toward meaningful, lasting change.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In your first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask about your history, current concerns, and goals, and we’ll explore what’s been most challenging or overwhelming. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions, learn about my approach, and get a sense of how we might work together. Most importantly, the first session is a safe space, you don’t need to have everything figured out. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and clear on the next steps in your journey toward growth and healing.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I approach therapy from a humanistic perspective, believing that every person has the capacity for growth and healing. I love celebrating my clients’ successes, big or small, and creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be fully yourself. I combine this with evidence-based tools like CBT, ACT, EMDR, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) to help clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and improve relationships in ways that feel authentic and meaningful.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
Clients who tend to do well in my work are open to reflection, curious about understanding themselves more deeply, and interested in practical tools alongside emotional healing. If you’re looking for a supportive, trauma-informed therapist who offers both compassion and structure, this may be a good fit.
EMDR
This modality is researched based and highly effective with treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) because it helps clients stop battling their internal experience and start living in alignment with their values, even when life feels hard or overwhelming.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT offers concrete, evidence-based strategies that help clients develop coping skills, challenge unhelpful thinking, and make meaningful changes in their day-to-day lives.
Humanistic
A humanistic approach honors each client’s lived experience, strengths, and capacity for growth, creating space for insight, self-trust, and meaningful change.
