New to Grow
I am a licensed mental health counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adolescents and adults with anxiety, stress, and life transitions. I have worked in hospital settings at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping individuals and families cope with medical-related stress and emotional challenges. I also bring extensive experience from school settings, supporting social-emotional development and collaborating around IEPs and 504 plans. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on building practical coping skills and resilience.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session is a space to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions to understand your concerns and goals, and you’re welcome to share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to tell everything right away. We’ll also review what therapy with me looks like and address any questions you have. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we decide next steps together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to connect with clients in a genuine, compassionate way. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where people feel comfortable opening up, and I listen closely so I can support them in ways that truly fit their needs.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I specialize in the treatment of stress, anxiety, depression, mood regulation, and challenges related to daily functioning and life transitions. My approach is integrative and evidence-informed, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to ensure that interventions are tailored to the specific needs, goals, and circumstances of each client.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
My approach is grounded in CBT, which focuses on recognizing and changing thought patterns that affect emotions and behavior. Therapy is collaborative and skills-based, with tools you can use both in and outside of sessions.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
My approach incorporates DBT, which focuses on teaching concrete skills such as mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Therapy is collaborative and centered on applying these skills in daily life.
