About me

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals and families find relief from anxiety, grief, and relationship challenges. My goal is to help you heal from difficult experiences and move forward with confidence. I offer trauma-informed therapy for both youth and adults, using practical, evidence-based approaches to calm the nervous system, process past pain, and develop lasting coping skills. Clients often describe me as warm, compassionate, and structured. I strive to create a safe space where you can feel seen and supported, while also offering clear guidance and tools to help you make meaningful progress. Reaching out for help can feel like a big step, but it can also be the start of real change—and I’d be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and create a comfortable, judgment-free space for you to share what’s on your mind. I’ll ask about your background, current concerns, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we’ll begin identifying patterns, strengths, and goals, and I’ll introduce some practical tools you can start using right away. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions about how I work and what therapy might look like for you. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and clear about the next steps we’ll take together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I’m known for balancing clarity and structure with deep compassion and understanding. I create a safe environment where you can express hurt and feel validated, while also helping you make sense of your experiences and build a practical plan for growth. My approach is collaborative—I believe therapy works best when we work together toward your goals, at your own pace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with children, youth, and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or weighed down by anxiety, grief, or relationship challenges. My approach focuses on helping you understand your emotions, develop practical coping skills, and find a way forward that feels both manageable and meaningful. Whether you’re navigating loss, family dynamics, or personal growth, I provide a warm and supportive space where you can feel empowered to create lasting change.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage overwhelming emotions, improve relationships, and cope with stress in healthy ways. My approach focuses on teaching practical skills like mindfulness, emotion regulation, and effective communication, all while creating a supportive, non-judgmental space. I work with clients to help them feel more in control of their feelings and choices, building resilience and confidence in their everyday lives.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help clients, especially children and teens, process and heal from traumatic experiences in a safe and supportive way. I focus on building a trusting relationship and helping clients feel understood while guiding them to develop coping skills, manage strong emotions, and change unhelpful thought patterns.

Family Therapy

I provide family therapy to help families strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, and better understand one another. I focus on creating a safe space where each family member feels heard and respected. Together, we work on building healthier patterns, improving relationships, and supporting each other through challenges in a way that fits your family’s unique needs.

Grief Therapy

I provide grief therapy to support individuals and families as they navigate loss. I focus on creating a compassionate, understanding space where clients can express their feelings, remember their loved ones, and find ways to cope with the changes in their lives. Together, we work on honoring your experiences, building resilience, and finding a path forward that feels meaningful and manageable.

Psychoeducation

I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By providing clear, practical information in a supportive way, I help clients make sense of their experiences, learn coping strategies, and feel more in control of their mental health. My goal is to empower clients with knowledge that helps them make positive changes in their everyday lives.
