I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting men, women, and couples through some of life’s most difficult and disorienting seasons. My work goes beyond traditional talk therapy. I take an integrative approach that considers the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Many of the struggles people face today—anxiety, relationship conflict, feeling stuck—aren’t just about thoughts. They are patterns held in the nervous system, shaped by past experiences, and often reinforced over time. In our work together, I help you understand what’s driving those patterns beneath the surface. We don’t just talk about change—we create it through a combination of insight, practical tools, and body-based strategies that help you regulate, process, and move forward. I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I also work with couples who want to break unhealthy cycles and build deeper connection. Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure why they keep repeating the same patterns. Together, we create clarity, stability, and a path forward that feels grounded and sustainable. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative. My goal is that you leave each session not just feeling supported—but with a clearer understanding of yourself and tangible steps toward real change. If integrating your faith is importan, we make sure that is apart of your plan, as well.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing your story. We’ll begin by talking through what brought you to counseling, what you are hoping for, and any goals or concerns you may have. I may ask some background questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and strengths to help you align to clear vision of where we are going. I’ll also share a bit about how I work—my spirit, soul, and body approach—and we’ll discuss together what feels like the best path forward. Sometimes this may include simple grounding exercises or body check-ins to help you feel more present, or simply giving space to name what you’ve been carrying. By the end of our first session, we’ll have begun building a connection, clarified your goals, and identified some next steps for your journey toward healing and restoration.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a counselor is the ability to create safety so that you can do the work only done with a safe other. We know healing happens when you feel seen, known, and safe. Another strength I bring is deep empathy, shaped through my own story of healing. I know how vital it is to have someone who can sit with you in your pain and truly understand. Research shows—and I have witnessed firsthand—that being seen and known in suffering activates profound healing. I also value equipping clients with practical tools beyond our sessions. This may include gentle rhythms, body practices, or thought-based exercises that help regulate the nervous system and cultivate peace, rest, and restoration. For those navigating chronic stress or illness, I draw on somatic and integrative approaches that support the body’s ability to move from survival into healing. Above all, I aim to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported as they move toward wholeness.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are those who genuinely want to do the work to achieve lasting change. I love seeing clients wake up to life, to freedom, and to a passion for living differently and more peacefully and meaningfully. I enjoy working with women who have experienced betrayal or emotionally destructive relationships and are seeking to rebuild their lives with hope and wholeness. I enjoy walking with couples who desire to have a more connected union. I always enjoy helping others find their most authentic self. I also work with both men and women struggling with anxiety, trauma, or PTSD. My training in somatic therapy helps me go beyond CBT or talk therapy to restore the nervous system through practice.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

With over 30 years of research, the IFS model is truly transformative in helping people come out of coping strategies that hinder them from living a whole, vibrant life. IFS can aid us in overcoming relational, personal, and professional challenges, and has shown to bring most transformation from my clinical experience.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Our thoughts shape our lives. By learning to interrupt negative thought patterns and replace them with healthier ones, CBT helps us change the way we see ourselves, respond to challenges, and show up in life.

Attachment-based

Attachment shapes how we relate to others and to ourselves. By exploring early relational patterns, I help clients build secure connections that promote healing, trust, and a greater capacity for intimacy and resilience.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I believe emotions fuel connection and that we live most fully when we are deeply connected to our hearts. EFT allows us to work not just with thoughts, but with the lived, embodied experience of emotion, helping create safer and stronger bonds in relationships.

Somatic

Because the body holds the story of our experiences, I incorporate somatic approaches to help clients release what has been stored physically through trauma or stress. This may include body check-ins or simple practices and assignments that encourage healing through spirit, soul, and body integration.
