LPC, 12 years of experience
I specialize in helping individuals—especially women—navigate anxiety and depression, ADHD, relationship instability, communication and boundary challenges, self-trust, and perfectionism. You may be feeling weighed down by anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling disconnected or unsure of yourself. Perhaps you’ve noticed struggles with boundaries, difficulty trusting yourself, or attachment wounds that keep showing up in different ways. Together, we’ll uncover the beliefs and patterns that no longer serve you and build a new path forward with insight, self-compassion, and tools for lasting change.
My path into therapy started with a simple truth I’ve seen again and again—people can grow even through the hardest seasons of life. Working in various mental health settings showed me the strength people carry, even when they feel lost or unsure where to start. That experience shaped my grounded, down-to-earth approach. I believe healing begins when we feel seen and supported as we are. In my private practice, I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and relationship challenges. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and find ways to move forward that feel real and sustainable. My goal is to help you feel more balanced, confident, and connected to yourself and others.
My greatest strengths as a counselor lie in my compassionate, holistic approach and my deep commitment to supporting clients through their unique challenges. With over 10 years of experience, I have developed the ability to truly connect with individuals, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and understood. My background in various counseling settings has equipped me with the versatility to address a wide range of issues, from chronic mental health conditions to relationship struggles and trauma. I believe in a collaborative approach, where the client’s input is always valued in the healing process. I focus on long-term growth and resilience, helping clients uncover the roots of their struggles and guiding them toward lasting change. My goal is to empower clients to move forward with confidence, peace, and renewed hope for their future.
I’m best positioned to help adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck in painful relational patterns, or disconnected from their sense of self. Many of my clients are high-functioning but internally exhausted — carrying the weight of anxious/avoidant attachment, people-pleasing, low self-worth, or unresolved family dynamics. They often describe themselves as the “strong one,” the caregiver, or the peacekeeper in their relationships, yet feel unseen or unsupported when it comes to their own needs. I work especially well with individuals who are introspective, sensitive, and ready to explore what’s beneath the surface. My clients are often navigating major transitions — such as relationship changes, career shifts, or healing from past trauma — and want a space where they can be deeply heard, not just “fixed.” They’re seeking tools to regulate emotions, clarify boundaries, and create relationships that feel mutual and safe. Many also come to me after trying to “push through” their struggles on their own for years. If you’ve been surviving on self-blame, over-functioning, or emotional shutdown, I can help you reconnect to your inner world with curiosity instead of criticism. Together, we’ll create space for healing, insight, and lasting change grounded in your values and emotional truth.
Integrative Therapy combines techniques from different counseling approaches to create a personalized treatment that fits your unique needs, goals and personality. Instead of a one-size-fits-all method, it blends the most effective tools from various theories to support your healing, growth, and self-understanding.
Interpersonal therapy focuses on how your relationships and communication patterns affect your mood and overall well-being. The goal is to help you better understand yourself in relation to others, improve how you connect with people, and build healthier, more supportive relationships.
Person-centered therapy, also known as Rogerian therapy, helps clients by providing a nonjudgmental, empathetic, and supportive environment where they can explore their thoughts and feelings freely. This approach emphasizes the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for growth, empowering clients to access their own inner resources and develop greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and emotional resilience. It is particularly helpful for individuals struggling with low self-esteem, identity issues, or emotional distress, as it fosters a sense of safety, validation, and autonomy.
The goal of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is to help individuals develop skills to manage intense emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and improve relationships. Originally designed for people with borderline personality disorder, DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance strategies. It aims to create a balance between acceptance and change, enabling individuals to build a life worth living by increasing emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
