About me

Hello! My name is Haley and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker helping individuals navigate life’s challenges by using a person-centered, strengths-based approach for practice. My goal as a therapist is to support and promote personal growth and emotional well-being. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for you to explore and process feelings, develop new coping strategies, and work toward your individual goals. I have experience working with individuals to reduce the impact of anxiety, mood disorders, depression, and struggles with substance use.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I use motivational interviewing techniques to meet individuals where they are and work to collaboratively identify and work toward change goals. I will use an empathetic approach to help individuals explore and resolve ambivalence about behavior change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT in session to explore connections between thoughts, feelings, and actions. We will explore unhelpful thinking patterns, work to change unhelpful thoughts, and replace them with more helpful ways of thinking and work toward changing unwanted behavior and actions.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT interventions to support clients with distress tolerance skills, increased mindfulness skills, and emotion regulation skills-especially if you may be struggling with managing intense emotions.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have been trained and have experience with mindfulness based stress reduction as well as mindfulness based parenting skills. I utilize mindfulness interventions to bring increased awareness to thoughts, feelings, and emotions and work with clients to be more present and “in the moment”, without shame or judgement.

Strength-Based

I practice with a strengths-based, humanistic approach by meeting individuals where they are and offering compassion, support, annd empathy as a basis for treatment.
