Life can feel heavy, confusing, or overwhelming—especially when you’re carrying a lot of responsibility for others. I’m Lindsey, a licensed clinical social worker, and I provide a supportive, down-to-earth space where you don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy. I bring both professional experience and real-life understanding to my work, particularly with adults who are navigating stress, caregiving roles, and seasons of emotional exhaustion. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you, help you make sense of what you’re carrying, and support you as you move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is a chance for us to slow things down and get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and what’s been weighing on you lately. There’s no expectation to share everything at once—you’re in control of the pace. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more grounded, with a sense of what working together might look like moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe me as warm, attentive, and easy to talk to. I’m especially skilled at creating a safe, supportive space where people feel comfortable being honest—without fear of judgment. I bring a strong understanding of grief, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm, and I balance practical coping tools with compassion and validation. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and help clients connect the dots in ways that bring clarity, confidence, and relief.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who feel emotionally overwhelmed, anxious, grieving, or stretched thin by life’s demands. Many of my clients are caregivers, helpers, parents, or professionals who are used to holding it together for everyone else, but feel exhausted, lonely, or unseen themselves. You may be navigating loss, life transitions, relationship stress, or a season of feeling disconnected from who you used to be. If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, approachable, and genuinely invested in your healing—not judgment or pressure, you may be a good fit here.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, build awareness around triggers, and develop practical coping strategies to reduce anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each client’s goals, helping them feel more empowered and confident in daily life.

Strength-Based

My practice is rooted in a strength-based approach that honors each client’s resilience, lived experience, and existing coping skills. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I work alongside clients to identify their strengths, values, and past successes to support healing and growth. This approach fosters hope, self-compassion, and a sense of empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.

Supportive

I provide a supportive, compassionate space where clients feel heard, validated, and understood. Through active listening, encouragement, and gentle guidance, I help clients navigate life stressors, emotional challenges, and periods of transition. Supportive therapy focuses on strengthening coping skills, reducing distress, and fostering emotional stability while meeting clients where they are in their healing journey.
