Hey there! I’m a licensed psychologist helping adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, sleep problems, or trouble focusing. If life feels exhausting even when everything looks “fine” on the outside, therapy with me offers a calm, practical space where you can slow things down, be understood, and build tools that actually help you feel better in daily life. I blend evidence-based techniques with a down-to-earth style, just therapy that fits you. I create a supportive, inclusive environment for people from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients. I also commonly help clients who are struggling with trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, anger management, depression, self-esteem, social difficulties, and substance use. If you’re ready to feel less stuck and more grounded, let’s get started. I look forward to connecting with you!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance to slow things down and get oriented. We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you in, what you’d like help with, and what therapy with me might look like. It will just be a supportive, low-stress conversation. Over the course of our first three (3) sessions, we will collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan that we will utilize for our work together. This will be our blueprint towards your wellness and healing!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I work to create a calm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being honest and themselves. I meet people where they are and help make complicated thoughts and emotions feel more manageable and easier to understand. Clients often appreciate my flexibility in allowing space to talk and process, while also balancing this with learning and using practical therapeutic tools. I’m especially strong at blending insight with practical strategies. Rather than only talking about problems, we focus on what will actually help in daily life — whether that’s managing anxiety, improving sleep, or staying more focused and organized. I tailor my approach to each client, adjusting techniques to fit your goals, personality, and pace. Clients often describe my style as collaborative and supportive. I’m engaged in sessions, ask thoughtful questions, and offer feedback when it’s helpful, while still respecting your autonomy. I value cultural awareness and inclusivity and work intentionally to create an affirming space for clients from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ individuals. I have extensive training in evidence-based treatments shown to reduce distress and improve functioning. My Ph.D. training gave me a strong and more extensive foundation in psychological research and how to apply it in a practical, client-centered way.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may feel that you are constantly anxious, overwhelmed, or mentally drained, even if you appear to be managing well on the outside. You may struggle with overthinking, stress, poor sleep, or staying focused, and feel frustrated that these challenges keep showing up in daily life. I also frequently see clients who are struggling with overcoming trauma, depression, relationship issues, substance use issues, and controlling their emotions. I work best with people who want practical support and are open to understanding themselves better—not just talking, but learning tools they can actually use. Many of my clients want to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, manage ADHD-related challenges, and feel more grounded and confident in their day-to-day lives. I also enjoy working with clients from diverse backgrounds and strive to create an affirming, inclusive space, including for LGBTQ+ individuals. Whether you’re feeling burned out, stuck, or simply ready for things to feel more manageable, I’m well positioned to support you.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am trained in utilizing CBT for a variety of mental health presentations. Additionally, I often incorporate elements of acceptance (ACT) and dialectical (DBT) approaches when appropriate for the client.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I have a strong background in using ACT with clients across demographics and presentations. I commonly use mindfulness, meditation, mindful breathing, and metaphors when using ACT with my clients.
