Finding the right therapist can be a daunting and vulnerable task, whether you're new to the process or a seasoned pro. As you're scrolling through endless profiles and bios, you may ask yourself "Do I belong here?". I became a therapist to give people the safe space, supportive relationship, and perspective that they may not get in other aspects of their lives. I also hope to challenge the stigma that may have discouraged them from engaging in the therapy process. I am a non-binary person of color who has worked in the behavioral health field for over 10 years in inpatient, outpatient, and school settings as a consultant, therapist, and counselor. Throughout my career, I've had the pleasure of working with clients of various ages, genders, ethnicities, and identities. My specialties include LGBTQ+ issues, ADHD, Parenting, School/Work issues, and Emotional-Behavioral Disorders.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll spend some time getting to know each other to determine if we're a good match. We'll work together to develop goals and figure out how to create a space that is most authentic to your individual needs and preferences.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic and Solution-Focused therapy techniques.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe my biggest clinical strengths are my abilities to help individuals recognize their own strengths and find creative ways to utilize them to address patterns of behavior and relational dynamics that may be impacting their ability to be their best selves.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

My ideal clients are those who are motivated to collaborate and engage in the therapy process. These individuals may be looking to establish concrete goals and strategies to address them, process past experiences and/or deepen their understanding of themselves.
