LPC/MHSP, 2 years of experience
New to Grow
Hi. It's nice to meet you! I am a mental health therapist that is located in Nashville, TN. I serve clients struggling with mood disorders, eating disorders, disordered eating, life transitions, and grief. I have two years of experience working in a residential facility for the treatment of eating disorders. Client's often share that through our work, they have found a greater sense of self acceptance, learned how to regulate emotions, and developed practice tools to navigate daily challenges. They describe feeling more hopeful, more connected, and better equipped to live in alignment with their values.Witnessing these shifts- seeing clients move from pain and self-doubt to resilience and empowerment- is at the heart of why I do this work.
Your first counseling session with me is all about creating a safe and comfortable space where you can begin to share your story at your own pace. I'll start by getting to know you- what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain, and what feels most important for us to focus on. I may ask questions about your background, current challenges, and goals, but there's no pressure to share more than you're ready for. I'll also explain how therapy works, what approaches I use, and what you can expect from me in our work together. My goal is for you to walk away from your first session feeling safe, heard, and reassured that you don't have to face your challenges alone.
What sets my therapeutic approach apart is the balance of warmth, safety, and evidence based methods I bring to each session. I integrate Attachment Based Therapy, CBT, and DBT to address both the root causes of distress and the day-to-day challenges clients face. This flexible and tailor approach allows me to meet clients exactly where they are-whether they need tools to manage anxiety or depression, support in healing from trauma, or guidance in developing a healthier relationship with food and themselves. My goal is not just symptom relief, but greater self-compassion.
I’m a therapist who works with adults who may feel struck in cycles of negative thinking, overwhelming emotions, or unhelpful behaviors. Many of my clients come to me carrying the weight of past trauma, struggling to manage anxiety or depression, or feeling disconnected from themselves and their relationships. Together, we work to uncover the root of those struggles, build new skills, and foster healthier patterns of connection- with themselves and with others.
I help clients work through trauma by repairing trust and building healthier ways of connecting with themselves and others.
I use CBT to help clients break unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier coping skills.
DBT gives practical tools to regulate emotions and find balance in recovery.
