About me

“My goal is to work together to create positive change by offering a safe and warm environment for clients to learn, heal, and grow.” Whether searching for a counselor for yourself or your child, I enjoy working with clients of all ages and considers it a privilege to journey beside each client as they experience life transitions, anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, school related issues or learning differences, or traumatic experiences. My philosophy is strength-based, whether working with a child who is struggling emotionally and may benefit from play therapy or an adult who prefers to work collaboratively through a cognitive-behavioral approach or a trauma focused approach. I also has specific, advanced training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) from EMDRIA, providing an evidenced-based framework to help individuals experience healing from traumatic events.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session is an opportunity for me to learn more about you and the reasons you are seeking counseling at this time as well as an opportunity for you to learn more about me and ask any questions you may have.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am an empathetic listener with a lot of life experience to offer my clients. I am trained in several different theoretical orientations to offer clients who may feel stuck and need additional resources.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients ages 10+. The only population I do not work with is men over age 18.
